Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

Below are some questions that parents have asked. We would like to provide an answer to your question too so please fill out this survey and we will post the school’s responses below:

We know someone who is interested in coming to Inquiry Hub, where do we point them?

Step one in the application process is a quick form filled out by the interested student, found here: InquiryHub.org/Apply. If a student isn’t ready to apply and wants to learn more, our next (digital) Open House will be on Tuesday December 1st. Watch our social media for details:

“We have ‘covid weariness’ – and curiosity about what is up next?”

There are no current plans to change things to online… and our district won’t decide this, they will respond to the Health and Education Ministries… it isn’t up to us. That said, I don’t think any school is more prepared to make a shift online than us. We already have a few students working from home and feedback has been great. I’ve purchased sound systems, lights, microphones, and webcams to further ready us for blended or online learning in a seamless way. Ideally, we want students here every day, but if it comes to a decision that we give students options, or that we move fully online, we are truly ready.

“Do you have any after school support?”

While we do not have any after school support, we actually have a fair bit of time when teachers can connect with students during the day. Grade 9’s and 10’s have scrum time when a teacher can be available to support students, and Grades 11 and 12’s have a fair bit of time in their schedule that can be used to ask for help. In many cases what would normally be done after school can actually happen during the day. If the timing doesn’t work, Mrs. Vanhulsen can help sort out a schedule or provide support herself. Also, our counsellor is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays if students would like to book an appointment.
