In this presentation, we will come together to talk about how generative AI has become part of our lives—in both school and at home.
We will explain what generative AI is in simple terms and show how it is being used in learning and everyday activities. You will also hear about the district’s approach to using AI safely and responsibly, with a focus on what’s right for students of different ages.
The session will highlight why the importance for students to learn and grow through the process—not just rely on technology to get quick answers.
Parents will be invited to be part of the conversation and see how AI is being used in schools. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how the district is navigating AI, feel informed and included, and start thinking about how your own family uses AI at home.
